NEXT STEPS
For many, the first step in this journey is to explore who Jesus really is. Jesus is more than just a statue or a picture. He is more than just a really good person. If you are exploring Jesus, Community is a great place to do just that. Lots of people at Community are on that same journey. Others have already walked down that road, and would be glad to walk down it with you!
For those who have decided to follow Jesus, you are not alone, either. At Community, we follow Jesus together. One way that we do that is by journeying through the four phases of Following Jesus...Together. Here is a chart that describes the Four Phases:
Our Following Jesus groups get together on Sunday evenings from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. We walk with each other through the four phases so we can better develop our three crucial relationships and become more like Jesus. The diagram below depicts these three relationships:

Then he called the crowd to him along with his disciples and said: “Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross and follow me. For whoever wants to save their life will lose it, but whoever loses their life for me and for the gospel will save it. What good is it for someone to gain the whole world, yet forfeit their soul? Following Jesus is a life-long journey. Just as He invited people to follow Him 2000 years ago; He invites us to follow Him today. The great thing is that we don't take this journey alone; Jesus wants us to follow Him "together!" No matter where you are on your journey, from exploring who Jesus is to being a fully-devoted-follower, we are to walk down this path together.
